AFRIFF 2026: Africa International Film Festival
About
The Africa International Film Festival, AFRIFF, holds its 15th edition in Lagos from 1 to 7 November. It is one of the continent's biggest meeting points for filmmakers, actors, buyers and audiences, and a week when Nollywood and African cinema take over the city.
A festival pass covers every screening across Lagos cinemas for the whole week. Alongside the films, the Africa Film & Content Market runs from 2 to 5 November at Twinwaters in Lekki, with industry sessions, deal rooms and a market floor for those holding industry or VIP badges. Masterclasses are free with registration, and the week ends with the Globe Awards.
Prices were still to be announced at the time of writing; the festival's tickets page lists the pass types and will carry the early-bird price when it opens.
