KITFest 2026: Kenya International Theatre Festival

The Kenya International Theatre Festival returns to the Kenya National Theatre in Nairobi from 4 to 15 November for its 11th edition. Productions from Kenya and more than a dozen other countries fill four spaces: the main auditorium, the smaller Ukumbi Mdogo, the Cheche studio and an outdoor stage.

Expect drama, dance, poetry and family shows over twelve days, with some outdoor performances free. Single shows start from KES 500, and there are passes for every kind of theatregoer: a day pass (KES 2,000), a curated five-show pass (KES 4,800), a week pass (KES 7,000) and a season pass covering every paid show (KES 13,000).

Tickets for each production and the passes are sold through TheatreKe, the festival's booking platform.
