Detty December 2026 in Lagos: Wizkid, Davido, Brandy and Lil Baby dates, venues and tickets
Three headline series, one city and a fortnight of big nights: how to plan a Lagos December around Wizkid's festival opener, Davido's residency and Flytime's six nights on Victoria Island.
No other city fills its December quite like Lagos. This year three headline series overlap in the second half of the month: Davido plays three nights at the National Theatre in Iganmu from 17 to 19 December; Detty December Fest runs for 13 days from 18 to 30 December, with Wizkid on opening night; and Flytime takes over the Eko Convention Centre on Victoria Island for six nights from 20 December.
Detty December Fest: a festival village for 13 days
Livespot, part of The 360Co, is building its own grounds, the Detty December Village, with two stages: the Detty Festival Stage for the big concerts and the Detty Pulse Stage for DJ and party nights. Around them, the festival says, will sit a food and shopping boulevard and a family Christmas area with a grotto, a giant tree and an ice rink. No street address has been published yet, and most events are for ages 16 and over.
The first wave of the line-up has Wizkid on Friday 18 December, the Detty Drummers on the 19th, DJ Tunez and the Aerial Ballerinas on Christmas Eve and the Lagos Strings orchestra on Christmas Day, with more names promised. Final times will follow nearer each date. Tickets are sold only through the festival's own box office, in naira:
- Wizkid's Grand Opening Concert, 18 December: general access ₦50,000
- DJ Tunez & Friends, 24 December: ₦25,000
- Tungba Christmas, 25 December: ₦35,000
- Higher tiers: golden circle ₦150,000 and VIP standing ₦300,000 for opening night, The Rio Times reported
Davido's three nights at the National Theatre
ORIADÉ: The Residency is the first live performance of Davido's album Oriadé in Nigeria (in full, The Rio Times reports), plus older hits and guests yet to be named. Multi-night residencies are rare in Nigeria, The Rio Times notes; as Leadership explains, the stage, sound and lighting stay in place across consecutive nights, a model associated with Las Vegas. The National Theatre, opened in 1976, is back after a restoration led by the federal government and the Bankers' Committee, with updated sound and vision, climate control and structured seating, Leadership reports. Tickets were due to go on sale on 25 September, with a presale for his 30BG fans, Leadership and Arise reported; check Davido's official channels for what is left.

Six nights of Flytime at the Eko Convention Centre
Flytime Promotions, founded by Cecil Hammond in 2004, puts all six of its December nights under one roof. Brandy opens with Flytime's House of R&B on Sunday 20 December. Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged follows on Monday 21 December with Lil Baby and Kehlani as headliners; EURweb adds Yung Miami, in what it calls her first appearance in Africa. Flytime Fest (22–24 December) and Flytime Circle (Christmas Day) have acts still to come.
“This December brings six nights, each with its own identity and experience.”
Flytime's prices and sellers are not yet announced: watch its website and Instagram accounts, and buy from no one else.
