Afro Nation Portugal returns to Praia da Rocha in Portimão from 9 to 11 June 2027, with Davido, Rema and Fally Ipupa at the top of the bill. The organisers revealed this first wave of names on 23 September, and say more acts will follow.

Who else is on the bill

Below the three headliners, the LIT Stage brings together much of West Africa's current wave and one big name from the Caribbean. Organisers have also promised a closing-night afterparty from South Gidi, the collective led by DJ Tunez and DJ Maphorisa.

  • LIT Stage: Omah Lay, Jamaica's Shenseea, Victony, Odeal, Valiant, Bamby, Miimii KDS and Tanzania's Rayvanny
  • Piano People: Kabza De Small and TxC, with Dlala Thukzin, Young Stunna, Zee Nxumalo, Xduppy and more
  • Afrotronic: Caiiro, Djeff, Jamiie, Aniko and JNR SA

For Davido, it is a return to familiar sand. The Guardian Nigeria counts four earlier Afro Nation Portugal appearances, in 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2025, while Rema headlined the 2024 edition. Fally Ipupa, the Congolese rumba and ndombolo singer, gives the top line a Central African voice.

Amapiano gets a stage of its own. Piano People, the promoter behind some of the biggest amapiano nights in London, hosts Kabza De Small and the South African DJ duo TxC, with Young Stunna and Zee Nxumalo among the singers. Elsewhere on the site, the Afrotronic stage leans towards Afro house, led by Caiiro and Djeff.

Shenseea is the Caribbean link on the LIT Stage. The Jamaican singer has crossed between dancehall and pop for years, and her place near the top of the poster shows how closely the two scenes now travel together.
